Q: Can anyone in my organization login to the system? How do I make lists private for certain administrators?
A: The administrator of the system will have the ability to add and delete users of the system. CommunitySafe support can also add and delete users. CommunitySafe allows you to determine the number of users you wish to have and what level of access those users will have.
Q: How does CommunitySafe work with my existing contact database?
A: Most data storage applications provide for the ability to download records into an Excel spreadsheet. This allows you to easily structure lists in the fashion you wish and save as a .csv file for loading into CommunitySafe. CommintySafe also allows for automated integration with your database as well. Simply request an integration guide from client support and we will work with your technical team to have you set up and automatically updating your lists regularly.
Q: How much does CommunitySafe cost?
A: CommunitySafe is charged on a per student enrolled basis. Based on the term of your contract, the school is charged a flat annual fee per enrolled student, per year. This fee entitles the school to unlimited communications and unlimited lists to not only parents/students, but also staff, faculty, transportation and school committees and organizations.

A: CallCommand Inc. is the parent company of CommunitySafe. CommunitySafe is responsible for the working and maintenance of the application and all client training and support.
Q: How long has CommunitySafe been around?
A: CommunitySafe began offering services to schools in the Fall of 2004. In the first quarter of 2007 alone, CommunitySafe delivered just shy of 1M communications and over 1,750 campaigns, across 6 States and Mexico. CallCommand, CommunitySafe’s parent company, began in the fall of 2002 and delivered 50M communications in 2006 for all types of businesses including several on the Fortune 500.
Q: How should the system be used in emergency situations?
A: CommunitySafe is not meant to replace your other processes or forms of emergency notification. CommunitySafe is a compliment to these and does allow you a system by which you can quickly communicate with large numbers of people in a matter of minutes. CommunitySafe should be used to distribute information from a voice of authority in a manner suiting the situation. By using the voice of authority, and the proper tone, CommunitySafe can be used to inform, calm, or produce action from the targeted audience.
Q: Is there a limitation on the amount of communication? What are my limitations?
A: There is no limit to the number of communications you can send.
